Voice message transcripts

"This is a process that preserve encryption as transcriptions are generated on-device."

The company aims to significantly improve accessibility and convenience for all users by allowing them to read transcriptions of voice messages on Android devices.

This update was rolled out under 2.24.15.5 version update.

Translate message

 WABetaInfo reported about the upcoming feature to translate messages using language packs.

The new exciting feature will allow the users to translate the messages in their chat boxes in their preferred language.

This feature is currently being developed for Android phones.

Community group chat icons

WhatsApp has rolled out new icons for communities and their linked groups on iOS devices.

To make it easier for users to distinguish community groups from other regular groups, the new update includes a refreshed design where the community announcement group features a new layout, reported WABetaInfo.
