Royals join forces with Hugh Grosvenor to deliver major snub to Prince Harry
Prince Harry is said to be reeling with feelings of betrayal by longtime pal
Prince Harry is reportedly not happy wih the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor’s decision to give estranged brother Prince William a prominent role on his wedding.
Writing for the Daily Mail, royal author Sarah Prescott claimed the Duke of Sussex allegedly feels betrayed by Hugh for granting the Prince of Wales role of an usher at the upcoming nuptials at Chester Cathedral.
Moreover, details of the wedding are currently being under the wraps as the insiders argued: "Both the Palace and Hugh's people decided to hold dear the operational part of the wedding once the leak about Harry not attending made the papers.”
For the unversed, the Duke of Westminster is set to tie the knot with longtime partner Olivia Henson next month; while the future King of England will grace the ceremony with his presence, Harry is said to have denied the invitation over multiple concerns.
It was also previously reported that the Spare author received ‘save the date’ card from Hugh, who is also Prince Archie’s Godfather, however, declined it to avoid awkward run-in with the royal family.
“William was asked to have a prominent role in the wedding and that's what triggered Harry to decline an invitation,” a well-informed source told the outlet.
“Apparently he [Harry] was put out by the request when he thought it should have been him.
