Chloe Fineman addresses fashion trolls bashing her for Cannes look

Chloe Fineman, the 35-year-old star of Saturday Night Live, had some advice for her fashion critics.

She addressed trolls who disapproved of her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 16.

“No need to be so mean! Thank you,” the actress wrote in the comment section of Check the Tag’s Instagram account.

A social media account dedicated to posting photos of celebrities and providing information about their outfits shared a split photo of Fineman on the red carpet. In the photo, she was wearing a sparkling, strapless red dress by Celine.

“These picture are weird. Her head looks too big for her body or something,” one user wrote under the images. Another added, “This dress is giving us nothing.”

Other comments were giving slightly better judgement of the look: “She’s a very beautiful woman, but this makes her look like a bobble head.”

Nevertheless, Fineman appeared to be enjoying her time in the South of France as she posed with Aubrey Plaza and Nathalie Emmanuel, her co-stars from Megalopolis, at the event that evening.

Apart from the Celine by Hedi Slimane dress the comedian donned, she accessorised her ensemble with Cartier pieces.
