Rebel Wilson has recently confessed she had used Ozempic during her weight-loss journey.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, the Pitch Perfect actress, who is currently promoting his memoir Rebel Rising, shared her brief experience with Ozempic.
“Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good," said the 44-year-old.
Rebel opened up that she decided to lose weight because of a fertility doctor motivated her to do for IVF.
“Basically no one apart from my mom wanted me to lose weight,” remarked the Senior Year actress.
Rebel stated, “People thought I’d lose my pigeonhole in my career, playing the fat funny character, and they wanted me to continue in that.”
Elaborating on how she lost her weight, the actress shared going on long walks, a high-protein and low-sugar diet, helped her in slimming down.
“I feel strongly that young women shouldn’t try to obsess over looking like Victoria’s Secret models — they should just look like themselves," she mentioned.
Rebel pointed out, "I know that my relationship with food is complicated but I am happy with my still curvy and solid weight."
Earlier, the actress talked to PEOPLE about the emotiona war she experienced over her weight.
“I think to many people I'm a beacon of body positivity because I see people who are considered medically obese if you look at their weight, but I think they are absolutely beautiful," she continued.
Rebel added, “I really think beauty is at any shape and size so I do really promote that."
