Madonna has got some kind and considerate fans.
The wheelchair-bound fan who got pointed out by the singer at a recent concert for “sitting down” during a performance, has come forward with a polite reaction.
The 65-year-old pop singer raised eyebrows when she lashed out at a person in the audience during a stop on her Celebration tour.
“What are you doing sitting down over there? What are you getting sitting down?” she asked, pausing mid performance.
But Madonna soon realised walking to the edge of the stage that the fan was in a wheelchair.
“Oh, OK. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that,” she said. “I'm glad you are here.”
The fan, named Vanessa Gorman, however, didn’t take any offence and isn’t upset with what the singer did.
“Some people are in wheelchairs and can stand — she had no idea I was paralyzed,” Gorman told TMZ.
The publication reports that Vanessa found it hard to believe that Madonna was not able to notice the wheelchair first, despite its bright pink colour.
The fan was “unfazed” by the scolding, and reacted to it by expressing her love for the singer by shouting.
