Blake Lively teases Kate Middleton over recent photoshop fail?
Kate Middleton faced a photoshop controversy over mother’s day picture recently
Blake Lively didn’t let go of a trolling opportunity, even if it was against a royal, and used it as a promotion too.
The actress seemed to take a dig at Princess Kate Middleton after news agencies pulled the royal’s Mother's Day U.K. photo March 10 for being “manipulated”.
"I'm so excited to share this new photo I just took today," the Gossip Girl star wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of her head naively photoshopped on a disfigured woman's body, resting by a pool, with one of the actress’ Betty Buzz drinks in hand.
She added, "Now you know why I've been MIA," taking a jab at Kate’s whereabouts.
The Betty Buzz account joined in on the fun, commenting, "Haters will say it's photoshop."
The 36-year-old also revealed that she has been coming up with two mocktails as well as four new products for her beverage company.
Blake’s marketing stunt got well received by fans, who started calling her a marketing “mastermind” for teasing the word going around about Kate's private recovery from abdominal surgery, which got flames when the royal admitted to editing her family portrait.
"Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing," Kate admitted in a statement posted by Kensington Palace March 11.
"I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother's Day. C."
