Kate Middleton uncle reveals how royal family is changing its dynamic
Gary Goldmsmith also responded to the consipiracy theories regarding Kate Middleton's health
Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith slammed the ongoing conspiracy theories about the royal’s health and prolonged absence.
After spending two weeks in the London Clinic in Marylebone following her ‘planned abdominal surgery, the Princess was out of the public eye recovering at the Adelaide Cottage.
Kate had finally broken cover on Monday after two months of hiatus as she was seen sat in the passenger seat of the car, driven by her mom, Carole Middleton.
Gary, who made his TV debut at Celebrity Big Brother, hit back at the rumours, and asked the public to respect Kate’s privacy.
“I think they should leave her alone right now because there's a reason why they're [family] not talking about it and they are giving her a little bit of space,” he said during an interview.
“I just think it's fundamentally wrong and if it was happening to anybody else they would think to give them some space. But because Kate's Kate, she does such an amazing job, there’s always interest in her.”
He also added that the royal family is now changing their dynamic and are becoming more ‘family centric.’
“I do think that they're changing the dynamic and they are family centric,” Gary said. “They've got duty and it's a privilege to have the roles that they do have, but it's family first. “
He continued, “You've got to look after yourself. You put your own oxygen mask on before you look after others. Kate, get well, love you and when you're ready we'll see you again. That's what we do to anyone else, why not her?”
