Rian Johnson, director of the Knives Out sequel, has already started talking about a new sequel ahead of the release of third entry.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is bringing back Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc along with a new star cast including Cailee Spaeny, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Josh Brolin, Andrew Scott, and Glenn Close.
Prior to the release of the new entry, Johnson has revealed that he is interested in exploring more of Knives Out franchise.
He teased that many ideas are already generating in his mind for the next potential sequel.
Rian added, "Creatively, I feel energized after making this one.”
According to the filmmaker, both him and Daniel are already thinking about what they can do next in the series.
He told The Hollywood Reporter, “Daniel and I are already starting to formulate… what could the next one be if we do another one?”
"I don't know why I would stop doing it if we could keep making them”, stated Rian.
The director previously also stated that he is not sick of these movies and he would love to keep on making them if the James Bond star keeps on coming back.
Knives Out 3 is all set to release in limited theatres on November 26. Meanwhile, it will be released on Netflix on December 12.
