Brad Pitt's F1 movie turned out massive hit at the box office in 2025

F1 creator Joseph Kosinski has broken his silence on the chances of a potential sequel.

Based on Formula 1’s most promising driver Sony Hayes, the sport action movie featured Brad Pitt in the titular role and became a massive box office hit earning over $631 million globally.

In an interview Kosinski was asked if they will be seeing Pitt retuning to the character of Hayes.

To which he responded saying that he personally would love to see the Bullet Train star back on the track and the makers are talking about it.

The Top Gun: Maverick star told Deadline at the Contenders Film Los Angeles, “I personally would love to see what other adventures Sonny Hayes has in his future.”

Joseph confessed that he is truly enjoying the phase of imagining where the story could go next.

In a statemen, he added, “I’d love to see what’s happened with the APXGP team and Joshua Pearce, and see how his career goes, so I would love to be able to tell another chapter in that story and it’s something we just started kinda dreaming about and it’s fun to be in this stage of imagining what that might be.”

F1 also starred Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris and Lewis Hamilton.
