Jennifer Aniston has officially gone public with her relationship, and her ex-husband Justin Theroux is giving his quiet approval.
The Friends star made things Instagram official with author and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis on Nov. 2, sharing a sweet birthday tribute in honour of his 50th.
Alongside a cosy photo of the two, she wrote, “Happy birthday my love,” and added, “Cherished.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement, but the reaction that stood out most came from Theroux, 54, who showed his support by liking the post.
The former couple, who married in 2015 and split in 2018, have remained on good terms since their divorce. They first met in 2007 and later sparked a romance after reconnecting on the set of Wanderlust in 2011.
Aniston and Curtis were first linked in July after being spotted looking relaxed and affectionate on a yacht in Spain, vacationing with friends including Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka.
At the time, a source told PEOPLE the two were “casually dating and having fun” after being introduced by a mutual friend.
Aniston had already been familiar with Curtis’ work, as she’d read his book, and the insider noted he is “very different from anyone she’s dated before.”
He continued showing up for her in recent months, including at the season 4 premiere of The Morning Show in September.
Now, another source says the actress is “very happy and in a great place” with Curtis.
With Theroux’s subtle show of support, it seems Aniston’s new romance is getting a warm welcome from her inner circle, and fans are happily cheering her on too.
