Godzilla Minus One, the global hit of 2023, will officially be getting a new sequel, whose titled and logo has finally been unveiled.
The official social media handle of Godzilla Toho dropped a small catchy video showcasing the name and symbol of the upcoming entry of the action sci-fi.
The new installment has been named as, Godzilla Minus Zero.
“Just announced at Godzilla Fest: Godzilla -0.0 (Godzilla Minus Zero”, the caption on the post read.
The video showed the aesthetic logo of the new movie, which simply had a brush stroke “G-0.0”, which is reportedly drawn by the director Takashi Yamazaki himself.
The 2023 film collected an impressive amount at the box office worth &113 million globally.
Prior to its success, filmmaker Takashi is once again returning to write, direct and provide VFX for the much-awaited sequel.
Fans have been going crazy over the new announcement. They are 100 percent sure that the upcoming movie is going to be "massive".
“Oh I am so ready. I used to pray for times like this”, wrote one crazy fan. Meanwhile, another commented, “Get ready everyone because we’re about to watch this in 4DX.”
On the other hand, a third user pointed out that the new logo displays the face of Kaiju.
“Look at the logo!!! There is a Kaiju face in the G!!!”
So far, this is first ever announcement made regarding the fresh sequel. Other details and release date will be announced in the coming days.
