Ariana Grande has recently received praise from Angela Bassett after it’s announced that the singer is joining the cast of upcomingAmerican Horror Story 13th season.
During an appearance at LACMA’s Art + Film Gala on November 1, the AHS costar shared kinds words for Wicked star.
While speaking to Variety, Angela said, “Ariana has been at it for quite a while.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her— she’s a delightful human being,” remarked the 67-year-old.
Angela added, “She’s a hard worker, obviously. Very talented. She’ll be ok. She doesn’t need any advice from me.”
Last month, the news about Ariana joining the cast was revealed in a post shared to the show’s official Instagram account.
Prior to the AHS, the singer as well as actress has previously worked with Ryan Murphy in 2015 Scream Queens.
In this upcoming season, plot and character storylines have reportedly been kept under wraps.
Besides Angela and Ariana, other cast members include Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters, and Jessica Lange, all of whom also appeared in Coven.
Meanwhile, Ariana has now wrapped production on Focker In-Law and all set for the premiere of Wicked: For Good, which will hit theatres on November 21.
