Kate Hudson has recently shared what she cherishes most in her almost 30 years in Hollywood.
The American actress reflected on “biggest gift” of her career at the premiere of her upcoming biopic, Song Sung Blue at AFI Festival in Hollywood, California.
“I think the first thing that comes to mind is the people that I've met, the connections, they always feel like my biggest gifts,” said the 46-year-old.
The Running Point actress pointed out, “I feel so lucky to be involved in a world of people that are so endlessly fascinating and intelligent and will and live outside of the norm.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Kate revealed her real feelings for the movie at the LA premiere.
“All I ever wanted to do was do musicals. This obviously isn't [a musical], but this movie in particular is everything that I've studied throughout my life or my career,” explained the Bride Wars actress.
Kate told the outlet, “I get to do [it all] in one movie, and that doesn't happen very often.”
“I'm just so happy that [writer and director] Craig Brewer that he wanted me to do it,” remarked the Almost Famous actress.
Kate opened up about her character’s outlook on life, saying, “There's something about Claire, she has this love for life.”
“Even in the darkest moments, when you get to know her, she just powers through with this light and joy, and wants to make everything happy,” mentioned the Fool’s Gold actresss.
“And there's something about that energy that I just tapped into a little bit,” she added.
Meanwhile, Song Sung Blue is slated to release in theatres on December 25.
