Even though, the couple never confirmed their relationship publicly, but sources claimed that the Mission: Impossible actor was thinking to make their romance official.
But before he could do so, he felt that the “spark had gone.”
The split rumours fueled after the Ghosted actress was spotted having fun with friends at the Bad Bunny’s concert.
The 63-year-old, who previously thought how incredible Ana, has a completely different opinion now.
In a way, it seems like he is "blaming" the Knives Out star for their break up.
As per a source, "Tom's telling people Ana wasn't up to his standards and he's the one who pulled the plug.”
The Top Gun: Maverick star is now "looking for someone with more charisma and life experience."
An insider told National Enquirer, "It's a complete 180 in terms of how he was talking about her just a few weeks ago, when she could do no wrong and this ultimate dream gal who walked on water.”
Reportedly, Cruise is just making excuses as the fact is that he is unable to “wrap his head around idea that that Ana didn't want him as a life partner.”
