Kristen Bell has decided to focus on other things as social media floods with posts against her after her “insensitive” joke offended people.
The 45-year-old actress skipped her scheduled interview on the Today show this week, but she joined Jimmy Fallon at The Tonight Show on Thursday, October 23.
The Good Place actress had a lighthearted conversation with the host, with no mention of her marriage and recent anniversary post, which caught fire on the internet.
Bell dished on her new season of Nobody Wants This and looked back at a fond memory of a family trip with Fallon and his family.
“Can I just say, not only is that a super-fun trip, but you are my favorite guest to see there. And I’ll tell you why. Because you have — you’re such an inspirational guest. You have a way of eventizing life that hits me in my marrow,” said the Frozen star.
Bell then went on to describe how the talk show host once surprised the other guests by showing up in a “full Evel Knievel costume” out of nowhere, which is now one of her favourite memories from the trip.
The actress has yet to make any comment about the controversy surrounding her post, which seemingly joked about domestic violence.
