Kristen Bell has made a surprising statement about her popular Netflix show, Nobody Wants This.
At present, the star cast of the show is busy with the promotions of the second season of the series that just premiered on the streaming giant on October 23.
During an interview, the 45-year-old claimed that when she got the script for the first season, she had doubts and was struggling with the elusiveness of the draft.
Bell constantly tried to oppose to the idea behind the show.
"I pushed back with constant questioning because I didn’t have the same hooks into the emotional math of my character that I’m used to having”, the Frozen star explained while talking to The Hollywood Reporter.
She continued, “And now I see how much ambiguity there is in real life, and I see what Erin was doing but there were times where I’d just roll my eyes at her and be like, ‘Ugh, you don’t understand.”
However, after watching the whole show and seeing public’s reaction to the first season of Nobody Wants This, her opinion changed.
“Once I saw the show, and to be honest, once I saw people seeing the show, because proof is in the pudding, I was like, ‘Oh wow, this girl is writing about what happens to your neighbor or your girlfriend”, added Kristen.
The 2025 Emmy Nominated series is based on a s** podcaster and newly single rabbi who fall in love. Together, the two discover if their relationship will survive with their entirely different lives and inquisitive families.
