Anna Kendrick is all set to star in a fresh series after featuring in Another Simple Favor with Blake Lively.
John Strickland, who previously made films like Line of Duty, Flight Attendant, Bodygouard and The Rig will be taking the director’s chair for this new project titled, Embassy.
The six-part geo-political action thriller is going to be produced under the banner of Ascendant Fox and Turbine Studios.
The Twilight star will be joining hands withthe Whiplash famed J.K. Simmons for the new series.
Embassy is set to enter into production in February 2026 in London and Cologne.
The forthcoming show will be distributed by AGC Television, who will present it to the international buyers at Mipcom.
Anna starrer series will follow the story of an American diplomat who must make a decision whether to protect the US Ambassador or to follow his orders to exfiltrate a high value asset when armed mercenaries storm the U.S Embassy.
Prior to this, the 40-year-old American actress featured Another Simple Favor alongside Lively and Michele Morrone.
Kendirck further has another exciting project in the pipeline by the name Babies, in which she will be starring opposite Seth Rogan. The filming is set to kickstart in November.
Meanwhile, she will also be a part of Chris Rock’s directorial debut project, which is yet untitled but will be produced under the banner of A24.
The film is set to cast Anna along with Adam Driver and Daniel Kaluuya.
