'Bridgerton' season 4 trailer teases Benedict and Sophie's love story

Lady Whistledown is ready to report on some new scandals as the latest season of Bridgerton is just months away.

After a long wait, Netflix has finally announced the premiere date of Bridgerton season 4. However, the beloved period drama is getting the infamous two-part treatment, just like season 3 released in 2023.

According to the streaming giant, Bridgerton season 4 part one will drop on January 29, with part two arriving shortly after on February 26.

A teaser released alongside the announcement on October 13 offers another glimpse into Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie’s (Yerin Ha) chemistry.

And fans can rest easy as Netflix has already renewed Bridgerton for seasons 5 and 6.

Based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels, each season follows a different Bridgerton sibling on their journey to love.

Showrunner Jess Brownell previously told The Hollywood Reporter that the long wait between seasons is unavoidable, explaining, “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited and dubbed into every language.”

Quinn added that Netflix still plans to adapt all eight books, saying, “My hope is that all the siblings will eventually take the lead because we love them all.”
