Looking back at the online reaction to their playful exchange, Johansson said it was a "silly" thing.

The actress was recently at TIFF promoting her directorial debut, Eleanor the Great. She told the Entertainment Weekly, "It was such a funny, silly thing."

The Black Widow star revealed that she and her husband Colin Jost didn't really talk about the internet's reaction at home, but acknowledged that it was "on everybody else's mind."

In addition to Johansson and Bailey’s moment, fans also noticed the Fantastic Four co-stars Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby's touchy-feely gestures during their film premieres.

Addressing why actors often share such intimate moments in public, The Avengers actress said that anyone from high school drama club will understand.

"I think actors are just…We have such extraordinary experiences that are in extreme conditions. We live as a family for months, you know, so it really feels [like] we have a lot of love for one another."

Johansson’s husband Jost previously spoke about the cheeky moment between his wife and her co-star.

"I was like, I guess in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there. Of all the threats out there, I wasn't thinking it was Jonathan!"

Jonathan also talked about the viral exchange, saying, "I believe in being able to show the love in all different ways and if you can't kiss your friends... life is too short not to."

Their film, Jurassic World Rebirth was released on July 14.
