Tom Cruise has recently made major decision before formally proposing to Ana de Armas for marriage.
A source spilled to RadarOnline.com that the Top Gunactor has planned to “draw up a very detailed prenup agreement” for the Ghosted actress to sign in a bid to protect his whopping $600 million franchise.
“He's a control freak and micromanages every detail of his life,” said an insider.
Therefore, the source noted that anyone close to Tom “always has loads of paperwork to sign as far as NDAs and that sort of thing, but marriage takes it to a new level”.
“The plan is to have it ready before Mission: Impossible star even pops the question,” explained an insider.
However, another source pointed out that once Ana “says yes, the paperwork is right there – ready to go”.
According to an insider, Tom “expects her to sign it without any drama, so that it's out of the way before they even announce the engagement”.
Sharing real reason behind his move, the source revealed that Tom is “crazy about Ana,” but the Jerry Maguire actor “has been burned before and feels the need to protect himself”.
For the unversed, Tom is cautious this time because his three previous marriages to actresses Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes, have all ended on a bad note.
“Tom is not looking to pressure Ana into any sort of shady agreement. He just wants it to be very thorough,” stated an insider.
The source added that Ana “likely won't have a problem signing something to keep Tom happy especially because a prenup shows how anxious her beau is to begin their life together”.
Meanwhile, the actor is all set to tie the knot with Ana in London.
