The stars of the hit comedy franchise, Horrible Bosses, are considering a third installment.
Charlie Day and Jennifer Aniston have expressed their enthusiasm for revisiting the series, with Day stating he "absolutely would be" on board for another movie.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Charlie Day shared his excitement about the possibility of a third Horrible Bosses film.
"I'd love to do a third one. Hopefully, we get to do it," he said, highlighting the importance of theatrical releases for comedic movies. Day's sentiments were echoed by Jennifer Aniston, who spoke to People about her desire to revisit the project.
"We need comedy," Aniston emphasized. "I personally think comedy is a necessity. That's one that we would have a really fun time, I think, going back to, seeing where those crazy cats are today."
Aniston and Day have already started discussing the potential sequel with their co-star Jason Bateman.
The Horrible Bosses franchise, known for its dark humor and workplace shenanigans, has developed a loyal fan base over the years.
The original film, released in 2011, follows three friends who plot to murder their terrible bosses, played by Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, and Colin Farrell.
The sequel, released in 2014, introduced new challenges and characters, including Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz.
While a director has not been attached yet, the prospect of reuniting the original cast members and exploring new comedic avenues seems promising.
With the support of Day, Aniston, and Bateman, the stage is set for a potentially hilarious and entertaining chapter in the Horrible Bosses series.
