Patrick Schwarzenegger has broken his silence following the shocking 2025 Emmys snub, with just a two-word response on social media.
After the nominations list was revealed earlier this week, The White Lotus fans were thrilled to see the HBO series rack up 23 nominations.
However, their excitement was short lived as they quickly realised that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s son was left out entirely and received no nominations.
The 31-year-old actor took to his Instagram Stories to share his reaction by reposting HBO’s celebratory post about the show’s 23 nods.
"So awesome," he wrote, in between two water lily emojis, a subtle nod to the show’s tropical setting
Putting his personal setback aside, the Gen V actor chose to highlight the show's overall success and cheer on his co-stars.
For the unversed, Patrick plays Saxon Ratliff in the third season of The White Lotus, portraying a "cocky finance bro" with interests in protein shakes and adult content.
The role has been widely regarded as a breakthrough moment in his acting career, and fans had speculated that the Staircase actor might land a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category.
However, while his The White Lotus co-stars like Jason Isaacs, Sam Rockwell, and Walton Goggins secured nods in that same category, Patrick was left out.
