Rachel Zegler is all praise for Pedro Pascal, revealing she lovingly calls him “Dad”.
The Snow White actress was in a conversation with Hits Radio UK where she reflected on her bond with Pedro and why she called him dad.
Rachel revealed that she was touched by Gladiator II’s support over her debut in the musical Evita on London’s West End.
“One thing about my daddy Pedro, he goes to bat for me in a way that I love so dearly. But he was standing after every number,” said the 24-year-old.
The Spellbound actress continued, “During ‘Rainbow High,’ he was like [claps above her head], like in the middle of the song, and that’s when I spotted him for the first time.”
“And I was like ‘Dad!’ But he’s the best,” gushed Rachel while offering insight into her friendly bond with Pedro.
This isn’t the first time the Last of Us actor publicly showed his support for Y2k actress.
Rachel pointed out that Pedro was one her most vocal supporters, especially during challenging moments.
It is pertinent to mention that the Materialists actor defended the West Side Story actress amid Disney’s live-action Snow White remake.
He called Rachel an “icon” in an Instagram story notably at a time when she was going through a wave of online criticism.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rachel’s Evita will continue the stint for 12 weeks at the London Palladium from July 1 to September 6.
At the same time, the actress is preparing for her next movie, She Gets It From Me.
