Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might cross each other in the courtroom again as their winery battle has still not reached its conclusion.
The former spouses have been embroiled in the legal war over their winery for years at this point, even after their divorce was finalised last year.
Reportedly, sources close to both the Hollywood stars have revealed that they are gearing up for an intense showdown in the courtroom over their Chateau Miraval vineyard which they co-owned.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, the Fight Club star is expecting a jury trial which could go on till at least 15 days, and Jolie is anticipating no less.
When asked about the potential trial date, however, the source said, “trial date remains a mystery, with critical motions still awaiting decisions."
They explained the case as “complex” due to foreign parties’ stakes involved but asserted that Pitt "isn't going to be backing down anytime soon."
They continued, "Brad is willing to drag out the lawsuit over Chateau Miraval and Angie as long as possible if needed. He is not giving up and will do it to spite Angie."
The F1 actor first went to court in the legal battle in 2022, claiming Jolie had breached a pact to never sell their shares of the vineyard without each other’s consent.
He insisted that Jollie had sold her stake to Stoli without consulting with him, however, the Maria actress claimed that she was free to do as she willed with her part of the property.
A source said, "As the courtroom drama unravels, the stakes remain high, with Stoli firing back with a $250million countersuit against Pitt, alleging he misused company funds for vanity projects.
For now, “Jolie is set to hit back again while wondering whether this legal drama will ever find a resolution. If they do go to court, it could be one of the biggest Hollywood legal showdowns in history," said the source.
