Reflecting on the peculiar challenges of bringing characters to life, Richard explained, “It’s kind of tricky thing that we do as actors… You are offering a character that’s filtered through your thought process.”
Maybe I do actor pointed out, “But that’s not where the magic is… The magic is you don’t know where to come from.”
Richard noted that sometimes “you don’t know where it comes from doesn’t work and then you rely on certain technique and approximating a kind of magic”.
“And then sometimes because you are similar to it, the magic starts to come on its own,” stated the Runway Bride actor.
However, Richard further said, “We don’t have the luxury of just doing it at home when we feel like it.”
“It’s like the camera’s on… Produce… do it and hope it works,” added the actor.
