Lisa Kudrow shared her thoughts about starring in the upcoming season four of hit TV series,The White Lotus.
Kudrow sat down with Parker Posey, who played Victoria Ratliff in the third season of crime fiction series, to reflect on their careers and recent projects.
Posey during the conversation onVariety’s Actors on Actor, suggestedThe Comebackactress, "You should be in season 4 [of The White Lotus]. You need to be a part."
The Party Girl actress went on to gush about her role in the thriller, emphasising how every actor should experience the brilliance of the show's creator, Mike White, as they uncover "the complexity of people."
"Well, we'll see," joked the 61-year-old artist. "I'm not asked, but I’ll have to let you know."
When Posey brought up the show's unpredictable storyline, Kudrow admitted that she "might not be [Mike White's] cup of tea."
However, Posey interjected saying, "I know you’re his cup of tea. I'm going to text him after this to ensure that you know that you are!"
Kudrow then went on to explain her hesitation to be the part of franchise confessing that she gets "nervous about inhabiting things that are too dark."
Nevertheless, the Emmy-winning actress expressed deep admiration and respect for the writer, saying that she would quickly say "yes" if she were ever asked to work with him. "I love Mike White," she said.
Kudrow also revealed that she was a huge fan of his work, particularlyBrad’s Status,his 2017 film which he wrote, directed and acted in.
"Brad’s Status was my favourite movie of that year," she said. “I emailed him to let him know because I had to. It was so good, I had to, and I don't do that a lot.”
