Samuel L. Jackson is set to join the cast of the upcoming third season of Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King.
Tulsa Kingfollows a New Yorker mobster - Dwight Manfredi - who is sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to start a new criminal operation after 25 years in prison. He builds a crew from scratch while facing clashes with locals and his own mob family.
According to Variety, some sources has claimed that the project currently titled,NOLA King, will be set up by a guest starring appearance.
Exact details about the new series remain under wraps, aside from the fact that Jackson would lead the series as a character similar to Sylvester Stallone’s in Tulsa King.
Jackson is one of the most celebrated actors of his time. He received an Oscar nomination for his breakout role in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.
In 2023, the Guinness Book of World Records declared Jackson the actor with the highest-grossing collective box office of all time.
Dave Erickson, who currently works with Sheridan on both Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown, will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on NOLA King.
Season 3 of Tulsa King is currently in production in Atlanta and Oklahoma.
