Pedro Pascal blames Dakota Johnson for painful on-set injury

Pedro Pascal jokingly teased his pal and co-star Dakota Johnson over a serious injury.

Pascal and Johnson will soon be gracing the silver screen alongside Chris Evans in a rom-com film, Materialist.

During the one of the promotional interviews for the film, Pascal and Johnson made an appearance at the LadBible’s game segment, Weirdest Would You Rather, where the Fantastic Four star recalled his Gladiator II injury.

During the game when Johnson asked him, "What’s the movie I told you to do?" , Pascal answered, "Gladiator 2. And I tore my psoas. My shoulder popped out and I’ve never been the same."

He then sarcastically accused Johnson for his injuries, saying, "Wow. What a good friend. Sent me to die. You said 'you go die.'"

The Last of Us star played Marcus Acacius in Ridley Scott’s film. Previously, while speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he reflected on his experience, explaining that no one told him to bulk up, yet he still decided to hit gym just in case.

"I was in no single directive from the movie to get in any kind of shape, but I did. Mainly so that I wouldn’t get hurt, and it didn’t work. I got hurt anyway. [But] I got stronger than I’ve ever been just so that I can play the character, really," he said.

Pascal and Dakota’s Materialists is slated for release on June 13.
