Ana de Armas will be impressing audience with her action-packed performance in the upcoming film, Ballerina.
The new film belongs to the world of John Wick, which originally starred Keanu Reeves in the lead role.
Ballerina’s official trailer has showcased the 37-year-old actress performing some really intense and challenging action sequences, for which she prepared specially with Reeves.
Besides that, Armas used to follow a very strange ritual to get herself ready for every take.
According to director Len Wiseman before every fight scene, the Knives Out actress used to scream in the corner.
"Ana does this thing where she'll rev herself up like it's a V8 engine where she's just screaming in the corner before she does a fight," he revealed while talking to Digital Spy.
Len continued, "It got to a point where at first it was like, 'What's going on?'... A lot of times it falls on me to rev the person up and I'm totally prepared to do it.”
Meanwhile, Ana revealed that she literally used to start jumping and screaming to the top of her lungs before every take as she wanted to keep the level of energy and intensity up.
According to her, this practice not only helped her but also pumped everyone up on the set.
