Sydney Sweeney has recently planned to focus on her acting career after breakup from fiancé Jonathan Davino.
A source close to the actress spilled to RadarOnline.com that the romance between Sydney and Jonathan “was rocky for a long time”.
The relationship became increasingly difficult for Sydney to balance her blossoming career with her personal life.
The Anyone But You actress confirmed that she was single in her latest interview, saying she’s enjoying her newfound freedom.
Another source revealed that Sydney “is exactly where she wants to be”.
“Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Sydney,” continued an insider.
The source mentioned, “She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”
A new source opened up that the challenges of actress’ relationship and wedding plans became a source of distress for Sydney.
“What did make her overwhelmed, though, was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it,” said an insider.
Following her public breakup, Sydney is now ready to shift her focus into her career. She will next be seen in a much-anticipated new season of Euphoria.
Meanwhile, the actress’ other project in the pipeline included The Housemaid movie adaptation.
Earlier, speaking with Glamour UK magazine, Sydney talked about celebrity dating.
“Everyone is always so curious about who I'm with and what's that like, but I think it's important to have something for me,” stated the 27-year-old.
Sydney added, “I don't date people in the spotlight. I don't date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it's easiest.”
