Kim Kardashian is up against her mother Kris Jenner when it comes to protecting her four kids from pushing into the limelight against their will.
A source spilled to In Touch Weekly, “Kim is mapping out a plan for North and all her kids.”
The SKIMS founder had a “great team” working with her, and she knew all the right people and studio heads, which is why Kim “is calling the shots”.
The source revealed that the reality star has signed North up for “photo shoots and voiceovers,” and she’s thinking up “lucrative deals for the other ones too”.
“She wants the best for her kids and unlike Kris, she’s not pushing them,” said an insider.
However, Kris expressed her concerns over her reality empire being slipping through her fingers as her daughters decided to move on to different projects and expand their own brands.
Another source dished, “It’s been high on Kris’ agenda for years to build the next generation of her family empire, which is why she’s been slowly phasing the kids into the show.”
But standing in momager’s way is her own daughter, Kim, who acted as a shield against her kids being thrust into the limelight against their consent.
“They don’t have to do this unless they want to, of course, which is why Kris is fuming,” pointed out an insider.
The source noted that Kris “has her own plans for her grandkids, first of all that they join the family show franchise”.
“Kris thinks Kim owes it to her after all she’s done for her, but Kim doesn’t see it that way, of course,” stated an insider.
Meanwhile, the source added that Kris and Kim are both so stubborn, and “it’s gearing up to be a major collision course and people around them are covering their eyes”.
