Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have officially parted ways two years after announcing the split.
As per the statements given in 2023, the separation of the couple was 'amicable'; though there were accompanying speculations of Jackman's Broadway romance with his costar Sutton Foster.
According to the Daily Mail, the actress from Shame filed for divorce in New York on May 23. The filings are uncontested and only require approval from a judge.
The outlet reported that Elena Karabatos – Furness' lawyer – included a few other things in her filings including a "notice concerning the continuation of health care coverage, a proposed qualified medical child support order, a New York state case registry form (used to report child support orders to the state's registry), the settlement, a proposed judgment of divorce, and certificate of dissolution."
An insider revealed that there will be no 'drama' or 'tension' as their 27-year-old marriage comes to an end.
They added that theWolverinestar paid his former wife a 'handsome spousal support payment'.
The news of divorce filing has come just after it was revealed that Foster has moved in with the Aussie actor breaking the 69-year-old's heart.
For the unversed, the former couple tied the knot in 1996 despite having a 13-year age gap. After two miscarriages, the couple adopted two children.
