Children of Governor House employees achieve SAP certification

The SAP certification is of utmost importance for our youth as it opens countless avenues for them in their professional life, said Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan while addressing a SAP certificate distribution ceremony for children of Governor House employees who completed the training organised by CIBA Consultancy, Pakistan.
Education minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Senator Nihal Hashmi, education secretary Fazlullah Pechuho, Karachi Commissioner Aijaz Ahmed Khan, renowned industrialists Sardar Yasin Malik and Mehtab Chawla were also present on the occasion.
Ebad said the employees working the Governor House wanted to get their children employed but they were unable to afford quality higher and professional education for them.
Keeping in view their limited resources, the governor said, a SAP Certificate course was launched in collaboration with the Ciba Consulting Pakistan for their children and that too without any fee.
He added that the aim of this initiative was to help them acquire the professional certification so that they could explore lucrative opportunities in the professional market.
Apart from 25 children of the Governor House employees, 256 students of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) had also been enrolled in a similar course which was also free of charge and would potentially enable them to acquire jobs in reputed firms after completion, he said.
The governor also said that a batch of children of the Governor House employees was also trained in media learning and many of the participants of the course had succeeded in getting jobs in various media houses.
Thanking the K-Electric for offering jobs to all of the six successful SAP trainees, he said a batch of 25 more children of the employees would be trained for the SAP Certification, while Sardar Yasin Malik had also announced bearing the expenses of another batch of 25 students.
The Sindh governor said acquiring higher education was the right of every citizen and keeping in view the growing requirements to accommodate students, the universities were being equipped with all facilities and new higher education institutes were also being established so as to provide opportunities to the youth to be able to enhance their knowledge in their field of interest.
Dr Ebad said that 60 percent of the Pakistani population comprised of youth and if they were not engaged in a positive manner, they might indulge in various social evils and became a burden on society.
He congratulated Minal Ejaz for acquiring 95 percent marks in the SAP course.
Education minister Nisar Ahmed Khohro said the provincial government would provide every help and assistance to help prosper higher education in the province.
He said free education is being provided at primary and secondary level in the province. He added that the aim of establishment of the Lyari University was to provide opportunities to able and bright students of the Lyari Town so that they could pursue higher education. He thanked the Sindh governor for providing a free SAP training to students of the BBSUL.
