CDA school students’ council takes oath

The 29th oath-taking ceremony of newly elected Students’ Council of CDA Model School was held in the school auditorium here on Friday.
Dr. Anita Kapadia, Associate Professor in faculty of School of Art, Design and Architecture at NUST, graced the occasion as a chief guest.
Principal Miss Tehseen Farah presented the welcome address. The students’ council consists of 23 members who are elected through voting. The council comprised of president, general secretary and a class representative of each class.
Newly elected President Warisha Azed while expressing her views promised to work with determination for the betterment of the school. Ayesha Imdad and Maryam Naeem presented a national song.
The students of the Junior and Senior sections have been divided into different houses.
The newly elected office-bearers of the houses also took oath. The best council members Dua e Zahra from Junior section and Warisha Azed from Senior section of the previous session were awarded certificates. Ex-president of Students’ Council Tooba Waheed received merit certificates of her council.
