Enrolment drive launched in Dir

TIMERGARA: The Education Department in Lower Dir launched enrolment campaign for out-of-school children in the district on Thursday.

The inaugural ceremony was held at Government Centennial Model High School, Timergara.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Muzaffar Said advocate, Deputy Commissioner Irfanullah Wazir, District Nazim Muhammad Rasool Khan, District Education Officer Professor Muhammad Uzair Ali, tehsil nazim Balambat Imranuddin, president Schools Officers Association (SOA) Muhammad Humayun, SDOs, ADOs, principals, headmasters and teachers were present on the occasion.

Muzaffar Said formally launched the enrolment drive by enrolling a child at Government Primary School, Timergara.

Speaking on the occasion, the DEO Muhammad Uzair Ali shed light on the importance of education and said no nation could prosper without education.  He said the provincial government had focussed on education and was doing its best by providing basic facilities to schools.
