The actress was invited to dine with President Barack Obama and First lady Micheller Obama earlier but refused due to work commitments. However, it seems she has had a change of mind as she has confirmed she’ll be attending the annual dinner, according to The Times of India.
Pee Cee took to Twitter to share the news that the dinner will take place on Saturday. Responding to a tweet on social media that said, “Are you going to the White House on April 30?” she tweeted, “Yes, I will be attending”.
At the dinner, Chopra will share the space with some of Hollywood’s most celebrated names including Will Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, Kim Kardashian’s model sister Kendall Jenner and others. The dinner is annually hosted by White House Correspondents’ Association, which is a non-profit organization whose members include reporters, producers, camera operators and other journalists.
On the work front, the actress is all set for her Hollywood debut with Dwayne Johnson’s Baywatch and has reportedly wrapped up shooting for her role in the film.
