ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that it is a responsibility of the parliament and the administration to take steps in support of the Supreme Court.

Addressing a gathering at National Public School here on Monday, the chief justice said that it is a constitutional duty of the Supreme Court to serve as a custodian of the constitution.

He said that the Supreme Court simultaneously played its part in dispensing justice and ensuring supremacy of law.

The chief justice urging the government officials to discharge their duties transparently said that they are not bound to implement orders which are against the law.

Don't be custodian of constitution be the custodian of Country and public, all laws and constitutions are made for Public and country. And in Pakistan both are in very very bad state. Whole world knows their is lot of corrupt people in Pakistan, you are the only blind man who can not even find one to sentence. History and country will never Forgive you.
