Five children die of malaria in Lasbela

LASBELA: Five children have died of Malaria in the Kunraj area of Lasbela district. Officials in the health department have confirmed the death of children.

They said that an epidemic disease and malaria broke out in two villages of the Kunraj area of Lasbela district, causing the death of five children.

“Five children have died of an epidemic disease in villages including Sahib Khan Goth and Omar Khan Goth in the Kunraj area, some 180 kilometers off Othal, the district headquarters of Lasbela district,” they said.

People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) teams have been dispatched to the affected areas. Other infected children were being referred to Karachi, said the officials.
