A seven-year-old boy was drowned in a ‘nullah’ at Ibne Sina Road in Sector G-9 and two others were rescued by the locals when they cried for help, police and eyewitnesses said.
Three boys between the ages of 7 and 9 jumped into the deep water of the ‘nullah’ but they lost their balance and drowned.
The people witnessing the scene jumped into the water and rescued two among three, while one, later identified as Saad, a resident of Sector G-9 disappeared in the deep water. His dead body was later traced out and shifted to the PIMS.
