1,650 faithful to observe ‘Aitkaf’ at Faisal Mosque

Islamabad: A total of 1,650 faithful, mostly hailing from twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad would observe
‘Aitkaf’ this year at Faisal Mosque from Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 20 (Wednesday, July 8).
The final lists of successful ‘Aitkaf’ applicants would be displayed on Friday, Zia-ur-Rehman, an official of ‘Aitkaf’ section told APP the arrangements for ‘Aitkaf’ have already been completed.
The successful applicants would be handed over their security/entry cards before July 8.
He said a total of 1,850 applications had been received during a month long procedure of selection of the faithful continued from May 15 to June 15.
Special arrangements have been made for the Motakafeen (‘Aitkaf’ observers) to impart them education about ‘Fiqhai’ problems besides daily lectures from religious scholars.
