Islamabad: Two teenagers drowned in a ‘nullah’ while swimming at Bangial Pani Wala on Friday, police said.
A group of youngsters, residing in Mohallah Amarpura, Rawalpindi, went for swimming in the ‘nullah’ after ‘Juma’ prayers to beat the heat. The two among them, identified as Hayat, 18, and Murtaza, 19, lost their balance when they were supporting each other and disappeared in deepwater.
Police and volunteers took out their dead bodies from water and shifted them to the hospital.
