Mega art event ‘Inspire Me’ held at Beaconhouse

It is with this purpose in mind that Beaconhouse School System (BSS) has always made an endeavour to encourage the young minds to express their creativity in the form of artwork, says a press release.
Recently, a mega art exhibition was hosted by Beaconhouse Margalla Campus, Girls Branch, in which all fifteen branches of SGO3 of Beaconhouse Northern Region presented their artwork. The theme of the exhibition was ‘Inspire Me’. All levels from Pre-Nursery to A Levels displayed their artwork which presented a spectacular array of colour and design. The artwork included sketches, paintings, collage work, 3D models, hanging mobiles, cultural display as well as display of art of the Mughal era. The exhibition was also witnessed by the parents.
The chief guest, on the occasion, was Ms. Kausar Jehan, a prominent artist, who is currently running the Gachrang School of Art. She also has the honour to make murals for prominent buildings, which include the Pakistan Monument, Suparco, Aiwan-e-Quaid and beautification of Mall Road, Rawalpindi.
Also present on the occasion were Nassir Kasuri, executive director of the Northern Region, and School Group Head (SGO3) Ms. Ayesha Shabbir. After inaugurating the exhibition, the chief guest visited gallaries of various branches. She appreciated the artistic skills and creativity of the students. In her address, Ms. Kausar Jehan stressed upon the need for promoting art in schools. She appreciated the efforts of the SGO3 and BMI-G for organising the mega event.
