The Roots Ivy International-Roots School System, DHA-1 Flagship Campus, celebrated the achievements of the graduating ‘Class of 2015’, says a press release.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif sent a congratulatory note to Khadija Mushtaq, TI, CEO of Roots Ivy International Schools, extending his congratulations to Roots Ivy International-Roots School System, DHA-1 Flagship Campus, for nurturing brilliance among the youth of the country.
The chief guests for the ceremony included Minister of State for Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, HEC Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan, Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Marvi Memon, British High Commissioner Patrick Moody and Ambassador of Republic of Argentina Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia.

The ‘Class of 2015’ dedicated their achievements to the children martyred in the national tragedy that took place at APS Peshawar on the 16th of December, 2014. The ceremony was a validation of quality teaching, educational innovation, and comprehensive philosophy of a progressive, global vision. The proud parents were overjoyed to celebrate the outstanding success and achievements of the graduating students who had worked hard throughout the year to achieve this enormous success. This year, students received multiple admission offers from top Ivy League universities including Brown, Cornell, Princeton and highly selective universities like Williams, Babson, Duke and Richmond on 100% scholarships. Roots students have received a collective scholarship amount of approximately Rs2 billion for four years of undergraduate study.
The narrations by the mothers and fathers of these outstanding students brought tears to many an eye.
Speaking on the occasion, an A-Levels student, Umer, said, “Indeed, Roots Ivy has helped us to shine, catalysing within each one of us, in sync with our respective talents, the emergence and evolution of the leader, change maker, philanthropist, global citizen or visionary to name only a few of the expansive roles open to the Roots alumni.”
The students who brought laurels by attaining outstanding results in their O &A Level final Cambridge and Edexcel Examinations, Foreign Language Exam, Common Wealth Essay competition, IKLC, IKMC, Robotics Championship, Sports Championships, RIMUNs, debates, Olympiad, Performing Art competitions, Community Services (LGCF) were also awarded shields and certificates by the chief guests.
Khadija Mushtaq said, “I am extremely proud to share with you the phenomenal success of the Roots DHA-1-Ivy ‘Class of 2015’. These young dreamers and proud high achievers have secured the most coveted admission offers from the top universities of the world including prestigious Ivy Leagues such as Brown, Cornell, Princeton, and highly selective universities like Williams, Babson, Duke and Richmond. To be accepted by such highly ranked colleges, for which even the top high school students in USA prepare a lifetime to get into, is in itself a remarkable achievement. The ‘Class of 2015’ has broken all previous records and secured an astounding amount of scholarships amounting to Rs2 billion.
Khadija Mushtaq dedicated the evening to all teachers, talented staff members, alumni and supportive parent community together have played a critical role in charting the future of these young vibrant individuals and all “partners in education” who have significantly contributed to the achievements of the year.
