LAHORE
PML-N leader MNA Hamza Shahbaz while talking to Ulema from different schools of thought and religious leaders thanked them for their unconditional support to PML-N candidates in NA-122 and PP-147 and said politics of allegations and lies will end on October 11 and the journey of progress and prosperity of the country will continue under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
He said Ulema rendered invaluable services and will display unity for coping with the challenges being faced by the country. He said PML-N leadership has always observed norms of decency whereas the other party is involved in allegations and mudslinging. Replying to a question, Hamza Shahbaz said Jehangir Tareen got loan of crores of rupees written off during Musharraf era while Aleem Khan belongs to Qabza group who made a plea bargain with NAB but did not deposit the money. He said in the contest between Qabza and Jazba, Qabza will be buried. Hamza Shahbaz said Ulema announced to fully participate in the election campaign of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Mian Mohsin Latif in NA-122 as they are satisfied with the performance of the government. Earlier, Hamza Shahbaz during a meeting held under the leadership of Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Maulana Saif-ud-Din Saif, Maulana Amjad Khan, Maulana Zubair Ahmed Zaheer, Dr Munawar Chand, Allama Mehdi Hassan, Abdul Wahab Ropari, Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Mosa Bin Naqvi and other Ulema described the election in NA-122 as a war between truth and falsehood as on the one hand there is a leadership which is committed to Islam while on the other hand there are elements which promoted indecency in Islamabad for 126 days.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is making all out efforts for the development of the country and national leadership is moving forward with sincerity and will be able to overcome all challenges before 2018.
