MITHI: The situation in village Jessi Jo Par of Tehsil Dahli is under control. The district administration and health department have overcome the outbreak of gastroenteritis by provision of medicines and clean drinking water through tankers.
Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, Muhammad Asif Jameel, stated this in a handout issued by the Sindh Information Department on Saturday.
The DC said residents of village Jessi Jo Par are being provided clean drinking water through tankers while construction work on the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant is underway to provide a permanent solution to water shortage.
District Health Officer Abdul Jalil Bhurgari added that the outbreak of polio has been controlled in the area. He said medicines and staff had been made available at the Health Centre of the village and medical services were being provided round the clock to patients.
