Phd, MPhil students to get laptops

TOBA TEK SINGH: The Higher Education Department will give laptops to government school teachers, who are also students of MPhil and PhD classes of academic session 2012-13.
According to a circular received by local education offices, teachers who are students of Allama Iqbal Open University, Virtual University, distance learning programme of any university or any private university will not be eligible to this scheme.
The circular added that a four member committee comprising DCO, EDO (Education), Deputy Director (colleges) and district monitoring officer will verify the eligibility of teachers.
