MULTAN: Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Tuesday predicted a change in the Punjab government in the coming days.

Addressing a press conference at his residence here, he said Imran Khan does not know politics. The opposition should present wise suggestions against inflation for the forthcoming budget. He said the next four to five months are most critical in the country and politicians should avoid personal tussles.

He said the days of the Punjab government are numbered and the Punjab cabinet is going to be replaced in a short span of time. It’s hard for Imran Khan to tackle public problems. He just knows cricket and politics is beyond his limits.

This is a responsibility of the opposition to prepare budget suggestions to end inflation in the country. He said Finance Minister Asad Omar bankrupted a company but Imran appointed him finance minister. He said Jehangir Tareen rendered great services for the PTI. The country is facing a flood of inflation and rupee is depreciating against dollar.

People who are responsible for the current inflation are saying it is a trailer. People would have to face real inflation in the coming days. He said people would experience critical inflation in the month of Ramadan. The next budget would not be a help for poor people. The PTI is passing through a critical internal party crisis.
