ISLAMABAD: The government has rejected the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s (OGRA) summary for an upward revision of petroleum prices for the month of June, sources said on Monday.
According to sources, the government has decided to give relief to the masses in the holy month of Ramazan and would ensure that there was no change in the petroleum prices and that relief would be provided to masses.
After rejection by the prime minister, the petroleum prices would remain unchanged in the country for the month of June.Last week, Ogra had forwarded the summary on raising the petroleum prices by up to Rs5.80 per litre.
