Home Department issued notice over non-presentation of former chief Zafar Gondal
KARACHI: The Federal Anti-Corruption Court has adjourned hearing in the case relating to the EOBI scandal until March 2.
Hearing in the EOBI scandal case was held in the Federal Anti-Corruption Court. The court was told on the occasion that the accused, Zafar Iqbal Gondal, could not be brought in from Adiyala Jail on which the court issued notice to the Home Department.
Despite court orders Zafar Iqbal had not been produced before the court on a previous hearing as well. Meanwhile, the court issued non-bailable warrant of arrest for former chairman Pervez Qasim Dada. Charges are expected to be framed against the accused in the next hearing.
