War on terror
That Pakistan is a safe haven for terrorists is a misconception. The truth is that the country has paid the heaviest price for supporting the war on terror and teaming up with the US to fight terrorism. Pakistan neither intervenes in the internal affairs of other states nor targets any weaker power to capture its resources. It has always tried to promote cordial relations based on the principles of co-existence and mutual trust with its neighbouring states. It hosted millions of Afghan refugees who fled from their country in the late 1970s. Pakistan also braced the repercussions of the tragic 9/11 incident. Even today, Pakistan is dealing with multiple security challenges.
Pakistan has never resorted to aggression to create trouble in any country. Certain countries, however, are trying to destabilise Pakistan for their own selfish goals. Despite all efforts by the Pakistan government, things are going from bad to worse.
